Confession Stain Remedy — amber glass bottle on sage field

Why it exists

A bottle worth leaving on the side table.

Pet stain removers have been industrial, ugly, and slightly toxic-smelling for as long as anyone can remember. Confession is the version you'd actually keep visible — beside the rug, beside the candle, in plain view.

Why it's different

For the rug. For the room. For the dog.

Document № 02 — The label

The bottle, transcribed.

A stain remedy is judged by what it contains and what it omits. The text below appears, verbatim and unedited, on the bottle — three enzymes, no bleach, a fragrance brief written for the room the rug lives in.

CONFESSION STAIN REMEDY

For the rug after the accident.

PLANT-DERIVED ENZYMES · BLEACH-FREE · 16 FL OZ ~ 473 ML

SECTION II · COMPOSITION

Aqua, Subtilisin (protease enzyme), Alpha-amylase (enzyme), Triacylglycerol lipase (enzyme), Lauryl glucoside, Decyl glucoside, Glycerin, Sodium formate, Calcium chloride, Parfum, Sodium benzoate, Citric acid.

Twelve ingredients. Three plant-derived enzymes. Zero bleach. Zero ammonia.

SECTION III · METHOD

Blot the accident with cloth until dry to the touch. Saturate the area generously. Allow eight minutes for the enzymes to engage. Blot again. Air dry.

Safe on fabric, carpet, and most finished hardwood. Test in an inconspicuous corner first. Pet-safe once dry.

How it works

Three enzymes. Three jobs.

Stains are organic. Mask them and they come back the moment humidity rises. Break them down at the molecular level and the trace is gone for good. Confession's three enzymes each handle a different class of organic matter.

01 — Subtilisin

A protease enzyme. Breaks down proteins — the structural backbone of urine stains, vomit, and most pet accidents. Active for the full eight-minute soak.

02 — Alpha-amylase

A starch-breaking enzyme. Handles the carbohydrate component of food-related stains — anything starchy left behind on the rug or sofa.

03 — Triacylglycerol lipase

A fat-breaking enzyme. Handles oily residues — including the lipid coating that protects uric acid crystals from surface cleaners.
